Terms

Short, because there is little to claim. Ambang is a hackathon entry, not a service, and the terms below say what that means for you and who owns the work.

What this is

Ambang is a research instrument built for the RYO-CHAN Virtual Hackathon 2026. It reads RYO's read-only market tools, runs deterministic strategies against saved, unchanged copies of those readings, and records the result as a verifiable receipt.

It is not a financial service, a broker, an exchange, a fund, a trading system, or a product you can buy. No account is sold, nothing is charged, and no relationship is created by using it.

It is not advice, and nothing is traded

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation or a signal to act on. Every position is on paper. No order is placed, no funds move, and the market credential this product uses is read-only, so it could not place one.

Crypto assets carry real financial risk. Any decision you make after reading anything here is entirely your own.

No warranty

This is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may be wrong, it may contradict itself between one cycle and the next, and it may stop entirely without notice. The data comes from a third party and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or current.

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using this, relying on it, or being unable to reach it.

Ownership

Under the hackathon Official Rules, all original work created for and submitted to the RYO-CHAN Virtual Hackathon is owned by RYO Digital Limited, and each participant assigns their rights in that work to RYO Digital Limited. That includes this product.

The same rules make submissions proprietary and not open source unless RYO Digital Limited approves otherwise in writing, and prohibit publicly releasing, open-sourcing, selling, licensing or redistributing a submission without that written approval. The source repository for this project is therefore private, and it is not available under an open-source licence.

RYO Digital Limited and its affiliates retain all rights in the existing RYO-CHAN platform, its source code, APIs, documentation, designs, trademarks and data. Nothing here grants any right to use RYO-CHAN material.

Disclosure

The Official Rules require that every AI tool, open-source library, third-party service, template and piece of pre-existing code used in a submission is clearly disclosed. The project README carries that disclosure list, and it is maintained as part of the submission rather than written at the end.

If these terms conflict with the rules

The hackathon Official Rules, Participant Terms, Privacy Notice, Code of Conduct and official event announcements control. This page is a plain summary written for a reader of this site; where it and those documents differ, those documents are correct and this page is wrong.
